
Local manufacturers and businesses in Wodonga can transport goods more efficiently thanks to vital infrastructure upgrades to Logic Terminal Road, which was officially opened on May 19 by Labor Member for Northern Victoria, Jaclyn Symes.
The new road will link Logic Industrial Estate to an intermodal rail terminal that is currently under construction. The Government provided Wodonga City Council $347,895 to deliver the $792,282 project, which made critical road infrastructure improvements including:
Once developed, the intermodal rail hub will enable local manufacturers to transport goods via north/south and east/west rail corridors, and will foster improved connections to ports in Melbourne and Sydney.
