On Wednesday, October 4, the council was joined by more than 80 industry representatives and leaders at Logic, the council’s purpose built industrial precinct and logistics hub.
This event, held in partnership with SCT, showcased the important role this multi-decade project will hold within the country’s logistical network.
Located on the intersection of the Hume and Murray Valley Highways, Logic’s location makes it perfectly positioned to take advantage of one of the most significant Australia infrastructure upgrades of all time – the inland rail network. From Logic, 75 per cent of Australia’s population can be reached by next day transport.
During the event we heard from a panel of speakers, including Wodonga’s Mayor Cr Ron Mildren, Shaun Mooney from Port of Melbourne, Simon Ormsby from ARTC, Regional Development Victoria’s Matt Nelson and Geoff Smith from SCT Logistics. We thank them for their time and valuable insights.
The council is proud of what Logic has become and our team looks forward to seeing the site continue to grow into an integral component of Australia’s logistical and industrial network.
