Logic Service Centre development opens
Logic Service Centre development opens

Construction is complete on a Service Centre, Fatigue Management Centre (FMC) and Trailer Interchange (TI) at Logic, with the facility opening in mid-August, 2014. The centre has created 80 new jobs to support Wodonga's economy.

The development includes the construction of a 24-hour Service Centre, FMC (large rest area) for up to 45 trucks and a secure area for the exchange of trailers between Sydney-based and Melbourne-based drivers. The centre has a laundry, shower, toilet and dining areas with plenty of parking.

The new facility will complement existing businesses located at Logic including Woolworths, Border Express and the Wodonga Tafe Driver Trainer Centre.

The facility will boost capacity along the Hume and improve safety options for heavy vehicle operators.

The service centre was privately developed and the FMC and TI were supported by the Victorian Government and City of Wodonga.
