Wodonga Council receives $10 million for CBA revitatlisation

Wodonga’s central business area (CBA) redevelopment has received $10 million from the Australian Government under the National Stronger Regions Fund.

The revitalisation of Wodonga's city centre is regional Australia’s largest urban renewal project, and over the past five years more than $78 million has been invested in the CBA.

The much welcomed $10 million will be directed towards critical infrastructure, including public open spaces at Richardson Park and the Promenade, key connections through the reconstruction of High and South streets and an extension of Havelock Street.
